ADVANCE ADAPTIVE LUMA- OFF

BACKLIGHT CONTROL- OFF

COLOR TEMPERATURE-CUSTOM- R=187, G- 170, B=199




COMPONENT (HD Cable TV watching)(Final, they looks great)

PICTURE- GOLF

BACK LIGHT- 80( trust me it isn't to extreme, due to the effects of the settings below)

BRIGHTNESS- 50

CONTRAST- 50

COLOR- 50

TINT- 0

SHARPNESS- +3( or 0, I like my image not too soft)


ADVANCE SETTINGS-

NOISE REDUCTION- OFF

COLOR ENHANCEMENT- GREEN/BLUE

ADVANCE ADAPTIVE LUMA- OFF

BACKLIGHT CONTROL- OPC( or OFF, I like how it lowers down by itself on dark scenes)

COLOR TEMPERATURE-CUSTOM- R=155, G- 155, B= 200( the flesh tones look realistic! )

PICTURE- STANDARD( Which will have CUSTOM Color temperature, more on that below)

I just bought this panel from Costco. One question, did you use a calibration disc with this, or are you doing this by eye?

What settings did you use for watching 720 p programs or watching DVDs?

Hey, I would first like to say I updated the settings above!
I noticed I could make the picture pop out more, this is most def how it needs to look.

I got my 720P/1080i HD Cable TV with the Component settings above, it looks great, if you got your DVD with component try it out for watching DVD and see how it looks.

If you got it hooked up not via component then try out the HDMi
settings, I seen MOVIE trailers on the PS3 XMB interface and they look great there, so try them out and keep in mind they are work in progress/nearly final.

By eye and assistance with calibration disc AVS HD 709

I updated the first post with DTV settings, for those that don't have cable tv and watch TV like that.

The RBG settings is the key to make this TV shine!
