For the fourth year in a row now, Value Electronics presented a Flat
Panel Shootout where I was a presenter. The panel contestants were the
Panasonic TC-P65VT30 plasma, the Samsung PN59D8000 plasma, the LG 60PZ950
plasma, the Samsung UN60D8000 edge lit LED, Sony XBR55HX929, and the Elite PRO-60X5FD.
For the third year running, TweakTV has supported Value Electronics, whom we thank for this opportunity, in their annual flat panel shootout. This year we calibrated, measured, and tabulated data on six of the industry’s leading Flat panel TVs: Two of the top plasma panels, the Samsung PN58C8000, and the Panasonic TC-P58VT25, and four of the top LCD panels, the Samsung UN55C8000 3D Edge lit LED backlit LCD, LG 55LX9500 3D Direct array LED backlit LCD, the Sharp LC-60LE925UN 3D Edge lit LED backlit LCD, and the Sony KDL-55NX810 3D Edge lit LED backlit LCD.
For our third year, TweakTV has partnered up with Value Electronics, a leading retailer for the highest end in video/audio equipment for the annual HDTV shoot out. Our own Kevin Miller , Co-Founder of TweakTV was there to calibrate and analyze all of the HDTVs to see who is this years top performer. #2 - Lack of content in volume is not an issue - HD launched with boring, but beautiful demo loops, there will be enough 3D in 2010 - I already won bets on that!
