One of these options would be to buy it on the Internet. If you are a do it yourselfer, then internet purchasing may be the right option for you. Be careful, and do some research beforehand on the company you plan on making the purchase with. Make sure the seller is an authorized reseller for the product you are planning on buying, and that it will come with the full manufacturer’s warranty. If you want the set mounted on the wall, and the wiring run through the walls from your equipment rack to the TV, you should plan on doing it yourself or having a contractor or a carpenter do it for you. If you are handy or if you have a good contractor that you are comfortable with to do the installation work for a simple A/V system, it will probably cost you less than if you were to buy it from a big electronic chain store or from a custom installation outfit. The one big caveat is that you will have to deal with any service related issues yourself if something goes wrong with any of the equipment you purchased.

Having a reputable Custom Installation company sell and install your whole A/V system is a much better option for most of us that are either not suited for the do it yourself aspects of an Internet purchase or who simply don’t have the time to deal with it or the potential service issues that may occur in the future. Therefore, you will be more likely to get superior picture and sound quality from your entire system.
As with any major purchase, you should do your research to find a reputable company to design and install your system. A good start is to contact CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association) at www.cedia.org. CEDIA is an organization that has been training custom installation companies for nearly 20 years now, and has a good reputation.
