Welcome to the core of Tweak MY TV, a database of User Menu settings for your digital HDMI input for cable or satellite video sources. Our recommended settings, based on the data collected in the field by our technicians performing professional calibrations, are designed to improve your HDTV's manufacturer-factory preset settings and give you enhanced picture performance.
How do I find my model number?
If you cannot get
behind the television, check the lower, outer front edge of the
television. Still cannot find it? The first place to look is your
HDTV's User Manual. It should be written on the front cover although
not always. On just about all TVs the model number will be on a label
on the back of the set near the input jack pack. On some models you
might find it by the side or front panel inputs if your set has those.
THIS IS IN NO WAY THE EQUAL OF AN ACTUAL PROFESSIONAL CALIBRATION AND IS ALSO NOT INTENDED TO REPLACE AN IN-HOME PROFESSIONAL CALIBRATION.
We do not claim that our recommended settings are necessarily the ideal settings for all of the sets of a particular brand and model. Differences in parts in the manufacturing process, and more importantly differences in the components and cabling in a given video system are all factors that affect the optimum settings for a particular HDTV.
Please note that at times the photo of the TV attached to the profile doesn't match the actual TV model number.
