Michael Hamilton has been involved in electronic endeavors since learning to play guitar when six years old. As a professional musician with a prurient interest in the emerging hi fidelity electronics industry during the 1970’s, the assumption that performing music would endow one with the ability to sell products that reproduced it placed Michael on a path that to this day has ceased to come to an end.
When the emergence of the Compact Disc appeared to have been the pinnacle of consumer interest in music systems and interest turned to a new hobby- turned-industry called personal computers, Michael was completely absorbed with the writings of Joe Kane in The Perfect Vision and the machinations of how televisions converted electrons into a moving image, sound included.
Originally ISF trained in 1994, Michael has graduated from assisting at West Coast and CES seminars in 1996 to a position today as co-instructor for the Datacolor sponsored ISF Seminar Series. Calibration and Video Consultation has been a prominent portion of Michael’s industry affiliation while serving in nearly every capacity in the Consumer Electronics field. As Procurement Manager for Invision Home Systems, a prominent high-end integration firm in Scottsdale, he keeps pace with current trends in custom installation with the world’s most cutting edge products. During that “most wonderful time of the year” known as the National Hockey League season, Michael is an Off-Ice Official in Glendale, AZ. for NHL games featuring the Phoenix Coyotes.
